The Dan and Steve Show
This is a great comic strip kept up by a friend of mine & his friends. Clever sense of humor. The above comic is my favorite.
Design Police
Finally! A method to notify bad & lazy designers! Have fun checking out these warnings. I suggest printing them out on sticker paper...
May Calendar Gets Famous
When Gary Hustwit, the director and producer of Helvetica, came to UConn to present his film, we threw him a party at our Design Center's studio. While there, he snapped a shot of my calendar design for the last month of school. The calendar had been on the wall since the previous year and had been collecting character and personality ever since. First the calendar grid got cut off (no longer useful after May passed) and then someone added in Jesus's face over the June-Cleaver-esque illustration... Don't you just love collaboration? Calendar is featured in photo on Gary's blog; caption reads "Hallelujah!".
DailyType.com
This website serves as a type diary for some participating Russian designers. they post new designs almost everyday.
ThreadBanger.com
If you love making things, this site will keep you busy with tons of fun projects and help you save money. The videos are hilarious and very fun, the graphics mediocre—but the logo? Awesome.

Great resource for upcoming design workshops, speakers and events. I recommend you check it often so you don't miss out.
